Causes of vaginal dryness

Many factors have been known to interfere with moisture in the vagina and the quality of its tissue. Below are just some of the most common causes of vaginal dryness::

  • Menopause, whether it’s natural or clinically induced (eg, after surgery or during treatment for fertility or endometriosis etc)
  • Radiotherapy or chemotherapy
  • Pregnancy & breastfeeding
  • Neurological factors, like stress or anxiety
  • Gynaecological diseases, uterine fibroids or sexual activity
  • Medication

It is important to recognise the cause of the problem. In some cases, like with certain neurological factors or vascular disorders, the symptoms will go away after the cause is removed. But the symptoms may go away by using Hyalofemme, and you haven’t dealt with the cause, which could become more serious. Hyalofemme can usually be used alongside treatments for the original cause, and indeed gynaecologists now recommend that all women should use a moisturiser in their vagina the same as they do on their faces, to delay or prevent the degradation of cells and other signs of ageing.

However, some conditions will not go away, and might just get worse in time, like the menopause. Studies have shown that some symptoms of the menopause including dryness get worse over time if they are not treated – and even in this day and age of relatively unabashed communication, the vast majority of women do not ask for help, or think that they have to put up with it as part of the ageing process. This is not true! There is no need to suffer like this. Hyalofemme can become a life-long treatment, helping you to feel good about your body and restore the way you used to feel. Hyalofemme is already improving the quality of life for millions of women around the world.
